Ford Australia presents a special edition of the Ranger FX4. The Ranger FX Special Edition truck pickup planned to be present in December.
Placed between the XLT 4 × 4 and the 4 × 4 Wildtrak variants, at the beginning of marketing, FX4 limited to 1,000 units. The Ford Ranger FX4 pickup truck has a number of changes of exterior and interior, but unfortunately it has not been announced what price will be offered.
On the exterior, the Ford Ranger FX4 pickup comes with bi-LED headlights, Ebony Black finishing on the grille, side mirrors, door handles, 3D effect decals for the front door and tailgate, a black extended sports bar and 18-inch alloy rims.
Looking inside, the interior of the special edition Ranger FX comes with a sporty seat with leather accents, contrast stitching and the FX4 logo. Soft touch dash panel, Tinted Graphite accents on the instrument panel and door trims, and Race Red stitching for the instrument panel, steering wheel, gear selector and centre console, the car also gets the SYNC3 feature as standard with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice-activated satellite navigation, digital instrumentation and reverse camera.
Under the hood, the Ranger FX has two engine choices, a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel capable of producing 157 kW (213 PS / 210 hp) with peak torque of 500 Nm and a 3.2-liter five-cylinder diesel engine with 147 kW (200 PS / 197 hp) and maximum torque of 470 Nm.
The 2.0 liter bi-turbo engine comes exclusively to a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the 3.2-liter diesel engine is offered with a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic option.
